Easy Project Tips - Retail Racks

Here is a nice example of some retail racks that were put together to hold
various "surfwear" at the Blue Planet Surf Gear shop in Honolulu, Hawaii!
In the first image, a few tee fittings are seen being used in the construction of the rack.
Specifically the EF03G Short Tee and EF04G Long Tee.
Easy Project Tips - Railings

Even a large railing system like the one above can be installed
easily with the use of slip on pipe fittings. To install a basic railing system
like the one above, use EF22G Short Cross, EF12G Railing Base Flange,
EF03G Short Tee, and EF04G Long Tee.
EF03G is used to connect upright to the top rail top rail where pipe joins
are not needed. Pipe joins at uprights can be achieved with EF04G.
The railing above protects the skating rink above during the season, but
is easily removed for the summer months when the area is used
as a specials events plaza.

Good planning can help you get your water access and recreation areas
in shape for warm weather. A simple railing like the one above uses
EF02G 90 Degree Elbow, EF20G 3 Way Blind Corner, EF21G 3 Way
Open Corner, EF22G Short Cross, and EF03G Short Tee. In the case above,
uprights are set in concrete, but you can also use EF12G Railing Base Flange
for setup of uprights.

Design aesthetics are maintained in this historic church even after installation
of a pipe railing. Having been built way before the many building codes we
have today, the choir loft barrier was very short. Addition of a simple short
railing provides needed safety and still integrates well with the interior.
Short uprights were mounted to the architectural columns, and then pipe
was run across and wall mounted at the sides. The railing was then painted
to blend with the interior. Use EF04G Long Tee for the top joins and EF11G
Base Flange for the wall mounts at the sides. Since the uprights are very short,
and does not support a structural load, EF11G Base Flange can be used
to mount the uprights. Use the base fitting most appropriate for your pipe
structure needs.
